The Hextal notification system is designed to keep you informed without overwhelming you. Every platform event — a message in a channel, a task assigned, a document shared, an approval pending, a deadline approaching — generates a notification displayed in the integrated notification centre and can be relayed by email or push notification on mobile.
The strength of the system lies in its configurability. Each user can define, for each notification type, the delivery channel (in-app, email, push) and urgency level (immediate, daily summary, weekly summary). Focus mode allows suspending all notifications for a defined period (meeting, deep work, leave). Notifications are intelligently grouped to avoid duplicates.
For administrators and managers, an advanced alerting system allows configuring business rules: alert if a task has been blocked for more than 48 hours, alert if an approval workflow hasn't progressed, alert if storage space reaches 80% capacity. These alerts can trigger automatic actions (escalation, reminder, notification of a superior).
